GBS and the Junos

Well, another nomination and another Juno ceremony where the Lads don't get what they deserve. I'm soon just going to refer to them as "Susan Lucci" instead of GBS.

They rocked the closing though. BIG time! A nice nod to the Junos coming back to St. John's next year. May there not be a dry liver to be seen... :D

Cheers!

It's Friday

As promised, here's a quick list of what's ongoing:

Great Big Sea - mixing of the Mar. 14th Mile One concert for CBC radio
status: getting feedback from the lads in advance of Final Mix tweaks

John Curran - recording his solo Christmas CD in his basement studio
status: still in the overdub stage. not many left to do before we get to vocals. Gonna be very nice

Karla Pilgrim - Her first CD slated for a July release
status: awaiting the mastered mixes from Toronto. Hopefully will hear them early next week. Can't wait for everyone to get a load of this!

Adam McGrath - solo CD
status: in the mixing stage. This has been on the books for a long time. Trying to get it finished for him. Too many damn delays and he's been exceedingly patient.... thankfully.

"Fast Ford" - a tune I just remixed for a buddy of mine in California (who loves ya, Bunster!). Had a ball doing it. Might ask him if I can post a link for it here so folks can listen to it.

That's all I can get into for the moment.... there might be another project or two in the wings soon. Still in the "talking" stage...

Cheers!

Might as well christen this thing

So, I figured it was time to jump aboard the good ship S.S. Blogasphere. Seems like a good idea. I'm hoping to be able to keep folks updated as to what's coming up. This appears to be as good of a means as any other. Yes, I have a Facebook page. No, I don't feel like posting updates of what I'm working on to it.

First things first: I've picked a logo. It's Soundwave. Will wonders never cease. Why on Earth would a sound engineer who's also a big Transformers fan NOT want to use that as a logo.

Stay tuned, and I'll fill in what's on the burners....

Cheers!
